QueenofDreams Wed 22-May-13 22:36:32

Fjorn - why don't you join BIWI's bootcamp thread? Might help keep you on track? I'm back on the wagon. Weight 11 8. Need to lose 2.5 stone

Boo to sore feet sazz hope you get it sorted soon!

luckoftheirish Wed 22-May-13 16:30:27

I have managed to do 9 miles walking today <thud> not intentional just been running around like a mad thing blush

Well done on the shred sizz

Fjorny you can do it!

Do is less than 6 weeks away so need to keep exercise in check as food is as usual appalling! I was maintaining quite well until the marathon walk buggered me up! Who would of thought walking 26 miles would make u gain weight????angry

SizzleSazz Wed 22-May-13 12:32:23

Fjorn, I think I managed to keep on a plateau as I jave been making cabbage soup every week and diet been fine for 3-4 days a week. Also been doing 1 or 2 exercise sessions so I guess that has helped. Weekends have been bad with takeaways and booze, but actually done loads of gardening so that has probably helped. Also have been very good this week prior to today's weigh in grin

SizzleSazz Wed 22-May-13 09:36:22

Shred done. Yay, go me smile

I am 12 5.5 this morning. Bollocks. I have been really shovelling food in so perhaps it's not surprising! Anyway I am going on holiday in 60 days so really need to lose some before then so I can put it all back on again with fish and chips and cream teas...

I am going to give low carbing one more try but actually remembering I am supposed to be on a diet so no chomping on massive blocks of cheese and really increasing the veg I eat.

loti have a rest!!!!

sazz well done on not gaining despite your absence envy, good news on your foot too. I hope it gets better quickly now and you can get out running properly again.

Really I would like to / should be able to lose a stone by 19th July, well in theory anyway, but never seem to be able to keep to weight loss targets so am going to set myself a food target instead. Despite it being half term next week and me being able to drink a bit again, I am not going to eat ANY biscuits/cake/pudding for the next two weeks and see what happens. If I can manage it I will be allowed extra chocolate brownies on 7 June!

SizzleSazz Wed 22-May-13 07:43:23

Nope grin. But I did step on the scales and was petty pleased to still be 10.12.5 which I have been for a while.

I only want to lose 1/2 stone; how hard can it be FFS?

No run this morning, so I'm guessing my 6am plan isn't for me grin. Will try and do something before I have to go into the office.

Great dedication LOTI although boo for bloating. Maybe a few days rest wouldn't be a bad thing given how much exercise you did on sun?

Hey Fjorn, shall we set some targets and report daily on here. I need someone with a stick to keep me on the straight & narrow!

luckoftheirish Wed 22-May-13 06:57:48

Hope you managed your exercise sizz smile

3 mile walk done smile bloat still here hmm not happy hmm

Quck sign in to blush and confirm my ass well and truly back on the wagon from today.

luckoftheirish Tue 21-May-13 15:01:17

Sounds nasty sizz take it easy and see how you go!

Yeah work is pretty full on as I seem to have developed some tails aka kiddies who will not let go of my hand smile I have pretty much given up using my car as finding it so much easier to to walk so it doesn't really feel like exercise iykwim?

Post big walk bloat still occurring so will be happy when that fade away, hoping it does confused

SizzleSazz Tue 21-May-13 14:52:05

You are clearly a better woman than me LOTI grin

I now have a fully strapped foot - they have given me a 'fake' plantar fascia to try to give mine a break, and I need to practice more weight bearing on my heel as I am coming off it too quickly which is causing my foot to roll. I may try 6am tomorrow as I will miss circuits as have to pop into work.

LOTI, I think your work is pretty active, so I shouldn't worry too much about missing out on 'formal' exercise

luckoftheirish Tue 21-May-13 14:26:15

Oh sizzgrin I was walking at 6 determination! Just school run to do and will have done 7 1/2 miles smile

Working all week tho hmm

SizzleSazz Tue 21-May-13 07:25:57

Set the alarm for 6. Turned it off pretty sharpish. hmmgrin

SizzleSazz Mon 20-May-13 20:17:55

I'm not surprised LOTI. I'm impressed you managed to walk out of bed!

luckoftheirish Mon 20-May-13 19:29:26

Welcome back sizz smile

6 miles walking done, hoping that means I am nicely stretched and don't extra ache tomorrow! Incredibly tired tonight tho hmm

SizzleSazz Mon 20-May-13 18:45:51

OMG, I am so, so rubbish. Weight has been going on (i'm sure although not weighed as too scared FFS hmm)

So, am retrying for the 797th time <sigh>

Went to circuits on Wednesday, ran 5k on Sunday and ran 5k and 10 mins powerplate today. I am hoping if I can up the exercise this will force me into reigning in the food which has been atrocious blush

I am going to try and get up at 6am on a Monday and Friday (and possibly Thurs too) and do a quick half hour run or maybe shred if wet . Wednesday will remain as circuits.

Grapefruit or egg for brekker and salad for lunch.

Well done on the walk LOTI, the loss QoD and welcome to ShadeofViolet.

I am aiming to post every day to keep me focussed. I have done it before and I KNOW I can do it again. Oh and I have another Podiatry appointment tomorrow so fingers x'd they can actually work out what is wrong with my foot hmm

luckoftheirish Mon 20-May-13 08:07:51

The walk kinda of happened grin, got to Paul's house and she wasn't outside! Forgot phone so walked up and down her road 3 times and realised she wasn't coming so came home, so only managed a mile, school run on the horizon smile

luckoftheirish Mon 20-May-13 05:42:53

Well the 26 miles are done smile don't feel too bad but incredibly bloated! This is a way to gain the pounds not loose them! Fingers crossed its just a temporary blip!

Due to walk with pal at 6 but unless it stops raining will be having another brew instead!

luckoftheirish Fri 17-May-13 07:37:08

Still here blush big walk Sunday so please think of me on my 26 mike trek smile

Fjorny walking is really helping with the old toning, I am amazed as I thought going mad at the gym was the way forward! And the good thing is you should be able to fit it in smile

QueenofDreams Thu 16-May-13 21:29:59

I've fallen off the wagon as well Fjor! Mostly because of DP having a go for reducing carbs. Not healthy he says.

For exercise I've taken up a sport. It's a bit crazy though. DP calls it 'death skating' grin Not been for a while due to hip issues though. I'm still 3lb lighter than I was when I rejoined this thread though.

Hey violet you are more than welcome to join us but as you will probably have realised by now we are not the most dedicated bunch of women blushblush

Well I started the week full of good intentions which have all been undone <sigh>, not got any fatter but not lost any. Am going to have to hide a certain cakey lady from my facebook news feed as ended up cooking bloody jammy doughnut muffins when I got home from work last night shock they were delicious though!

Had to run for train this morning too (at least have had a bit of exercise!) and there was nothing in my legs, am sooooo unfit now. Not sure what exercise to start but need to do something...

ShadeofViolet Sun 12-May-13 20:27:58

Can I join you ladies.

I would like to lose 2 stone. I am at the heaviest I have ever been (just under 12st and I hate it. I want to make a change.

I have joined the gym today, and I determined to start going at least three times a week.

luckoftheirish Sun 12-May-13 18:22:11

My exercise is boring me so god knows what you guys make of it blush

Anyway 4 miles walk on my own followed by 3 mile walk with pal.

Gym with another pal and 6km done

Finally walk/scooter with kiddies (2+ miles) so over 12 miles done and beyond pooped, god knows how I am going to survive 26 nxt Sunday!!!

Eating myself out of house and home toohmm

luckoftheirish Sat 11-May-13 17:15:43

40 mins walk first thing, 5.5km walk/run at gym and another 35 min walk just now, will be glad when this walk is overhmm

luckoftheirish Fri 10-May-13 18:46:09

I have walked 10 miles today <thud> beyond exhausted!

QueenofDreams Fri 10-May-13 14:20:43

Thanks Fjor We're not planning on going anywhere this weekend thankfully. ILs are coming over tomorrow for food and football, so I'll have to be very very good. I'm 1 lb down on last weeks weight as of this morning, so I'm pretty pleased grin

Well down on your loss too, how much do you have to lose still?
