only half a stone to go but....

i have completely lost my motivation. I feel like i want to just eat some chips and chocolate and do no exercise and never think about my weight again, but i feel depressed for feeling like this. Please help me get back on track!

I was feeling like that on Tues. I have a stone to go but I felt I just had enough. Deep down though you know you've come so far and you feel good and look good for it. It'll take no time at all to loose those final few pounds! smile Don't punish yourself with chips, reward yourself and your achievement with something just for you:new CD,new scarf, hair cut, eyebrows shaping, manicure...wink

Look at it the other way. If you do that (eat chips or chocolate and do no exercise) you'll start to put on the weight you already lost. If you want to keep it off you need to be on track forever. If you have this motivation once the weight is all off it won't take long to put it back on and more (as your body used to function on less calories).

Yes of course you can eat chips or chocolate occasionally but if you go back to old habits you'll go back to your old shape.

Thanks for the encouragement. I feel more like carrying on now. I have been out for a brisk walk in the snow and feel happier. I like the reward idea! I think i will allow myself a once a week eat what i want night when i have reached my target weight.

Yes once at target should be able to do more like 80:20 so once a week eat want you want plus other occasional treats eg I love soleros only 100 cals, or a few squares of 85% chocolate.
