Hello all

have done my 30 days of shred, which was great..but it seems that I was clinging on to the 30 thing and now have to have a stern chat with myself every evening to force myself to do it. thinking of either repeating the whole process with heavier weights and better concentration on form ...or going for 6w6p (though an in aus and its a pain to order)

ripped in 30 is only 25 dollars in Target...what's it like?

Thanks

I totally love it, but its much much harder than 30 day shred.

Personally I'd repeat 30 day shred 2 or even 3 times with bigger weights (I was managing 4kg for most of the exercises before I got ripped in 30. You need very very strong core muscles for it, so again unless you can do full press-ups and plank comfortably for a minute worth sticking with 30 day shred.

that's really helpful thank you - I like tough, but that sounds like great advice. If I have in my head I'm starting again I think it might work better than vaguely doing a bit because I'm not sure what to do next...

I have just started doing ripped, I have only done level 1 so far. I am finding it pretty tough. Probably easier than level 3 of 30DS. I'm a bit worried about how level 3 and 4 of RI30 will feel, as she seems to present level 1 as if it is an easy lead in to the later levels, and it doesnt seem easy at all.

Oh dear! I'm struggling with shred! This isn't for me then?

I would say don't do it until you are reasonably OK with level 3 of 30 DS.

I would agree that level 1 of RI30 not so different from level 3 shred.

I now find level 3 shred pretty easy even with decent sized weights but just tried level 3 RI30 and its totally mental. Best to repeat shred until you can do level 2 and 3 on the harder options with decent sized weights!

thanks all, decision made, going to start the shred again with heavier weights and see how I go.
