Another thread!

FjorGyngleBells Thu 15-Dec-11 09:12:24

Am down 1.5lb on the start of the last thread eight months ago hmm. I have proved beyond a doubt that I can do maintenance grin. If I can just keep shredding over Christmas and rein in the scoffage a little bit I may start next year in a slightly better position than last year when I put on half a stone in two weeks...

aStarOverMangerways Thu 15-Dec-11 09:14:50

Well done Fjor. If it's any help I find you quite inspirational - sticktoitivity is something that I've always lacked blush

We are going away for the weekend (FIL's 60th) and have just discovered the hotel we're staying in has a pool and steam room smile So swimming is definitely on the cards! Esp since we'll be stuck in hotel room with the kids on Saturday evening, so might as well take it in turns to sneak down to the pool grin

FjorGyngleBells Thu 15-Dec-11 09:35:15

Thank you star blush

Your Saturday night sounds fab! Enjoy splashing around smile

I too will be in the pool on Saturday but at a pool party for one of DD's friends. In my tankini in front of the other school mothers shockblush[fshould have shredded more...]

I am 2lb down today and yesterday someone I see regularly noticed how much weight I had lost it made me grin and decline the mince pies smile

CrispLeCrisp Thu 15-Dec-11 10:36:50

Woo woo for losses. I have had a terrible week food/drink wise blush

1hr pilates done smile

DingDongMerlionOnHigh Thu 15-Dec-11 11:24:11

Well done Hots and Pudding! I had similar today at a friends re the comment on looking slimmer does make you feel good doesn't it?!

aStarOverMangerways Thu 15-Dec-11 16:13:28

lovely to have spontaneous encouragement like that pud and Merlion smile

well done on pilates Crisp. no structured exercise as such here, but hours of schlepping around town with the buggy, including 30mins of playing chase with ds in the park that certainly raised my heart rate.

luckoftheirish Thu 15-Dec-11 21:07:17

I'm here smile

Colonic was great not at all cringy and feel so much better smile.. will see if it has made a difference tomorrow hmm..not holding out much hope even after exercising for 10 days in a row shockshock

CrispLeCrisp Fri 16-Dec-11 07:56:08

Evens today which is a miracle. In a few weeks remind me of this as I pe on 5lbs in a week......

luckoftheirish Fri 16-Dec-11 09:00:01

Evens here too hmm with all this exercise and a good clear out blush was hoping for morehmm however I was +2 for most of the week confusedhmm

luckoftheirish Fri 16-Dec-11 12:22:03

30 mins p/t fit for nought elseblush

CrispLeCrisp Fri 16-Dec-11 15:04:20

Lol loti grin

2.5 mile walk, 1 hr PT session. Pt session much much easier than my normal circuits as focused on strength not interval training. I expect I shall ache more tomorrow though......

luckoftheirish Fri 16-Dec-11 15:07:42

Crisp will trade your Pt for mine... She is hard core and never lets us give up for the whole session!!!hmm

CrispLeCrisp Sat 17-Dec-11 09:53:17

Loti, this was a free session so he was focussing on letting me try different things rather than a hardcore programme and no real cardio as he knows I can do that blindfold! Used the TRX machine which was fun and free weights stuff. I may book some for the new year if I get paid

FjorGyngleBells Sun 18-Dec-11 19:38:30

well my exercising boot camp has gone tits up blush Too busy having fun on Thursday, too hungover on Friday, too tired on Saturday and full of cold today. Oops!

CrispLeCrisp Sun 18-Dec-11 19:44:11

PMSL. Fabulous Dahling grin

And this is why you are a Hotmama rather than an effortless slim Jim. I know which i'd rather be smile

CrispLeCrisp Sun 18-Dec-11 19:45:49

No exercise here either and lunch was 3 sausage rolls blush. I think i will try and shred tomorrow afternoon with the girls and then have creche booked for Tues and Weds, so still hopeful for achieving 4* Exersazz. The week after may be more of a challenge hmm

luckoftheirish Sun 18-Dec-11 20:07:20

Me too blush... Got an hour free child care at the gym mon/tues/wed and then that's it..

However already glugging wine so no hope grin

luckoftheirish Mon 19-Dec-11 16:12:52

1.5km on cross trainer followed by 30 mins p/t session smile

YougreatChristmaspudding Tue 20-Dec-11 10:20:54

I'm off for a 3 mile walk to drop DH his computer - girls in the buggy and plenty of hills!

Had a weigh in with the practice nurse this morning - they need to monitor weightloss with thyroid meds - and I am 15kg down in 9 weeks which is about 33lb which made me smile

luckoftheirish Tue 20-Dec-11 11:28:44

Wow wow wow pudding amazing gringringringrin

30 mins quick trip to gym including 2km run.. Not alot hmm

aStarOverMangerways Tue 20-Dec-11 13:34:41

aStarOverMangerways Tue 20-Dec-11 13:36:53

oh, forgot to add that all weekend i had people crying out 'omg you are so slim, you look amazing!' which was both gratifying and motivational. def gonna try and keep christmas scoffage in the moderate range smile

CrispLeCrisp Tue 20-Dec-11 14:55:54

Yay for star and pudding smile

Gym today - 1.5k run, 1/2 hr circuits, 45 mins spin, 5 mins powerplate and 'swimming' with dd1.
