he loved his garden, dd is 3 and won't be at the funeral for obvious reasons. It is my FIL btw. Do you think they are over the top cheerful, I don't want to offend my SIL. Am widowed, so I can't get dh's opinion!

plus much nicer than a depressing cellophane bouquet or wreath..these will carry on living and look very pretty and cheery - perfect imo. Sympathies too, my FIL died a month ago, is v sad.

yes wasn't keen on the colour of 2nd ones, just the arrangement iyswim. That's done at least. Now I just need to figure out what to wear, think I shall be wearing the same suit as I wore to dh's sad but no top to fit. SIL is very prim, neat and proper and no good me turning up like a sack o spuds!
