Bereavement

Can I Ask For Some Hugs?

I know its not really the MN thing, but some virtual hugs would really help right now.

Its 3 years today since my mum died at the age of 48. I miss her so much, Jessica was exactly 2 weeks old when she died and so has never "known" her Grandma.

We have spent the day at the beach with my dad, and it was lovely, but we are all just needing hugs.

TIA x

I dread losing my mum. I am glad you had a nice day at the beach, and big hugs to you, the bump and your dds

So sorry JARM.

At least she got to see you a mother, even if Jessica won't remember her, iyswim.

That's my biggest regret too my mum never met any of my children and being pregnant with a third without her is even harder. I could tell you it gets better but you will always miss her and miss what you could have shared with her. Try and focus on the happy memories and have a good cry it helps.

Thinking of you...

FIL died a year before we had dd and I know DH often feels very sad that he never met her and she won't know him.
