I'm so sorry for your loss. Have you thought about any grief counselling it must be so shocking?

I lost a parent very suddenly, it's very traumatic as well as devastating. Time will help, over the years it gets easier. In the meantime, counselling would really benefit, perhaps Cruse Bereavement or a local therapist, or even call the Samaritans. Flowers

Scarlett so very sorry. My dad died very suddenly in a terrible accident 10 years ago now.

It gets easier but I miss him everyday.

I went through all stages. Anger, sadness, guilt, honestly I can't say anything to make it easier because it is not easy.

I will say that one thing I did was I got braver. So if I was scared of am interview or a move or something I will be like well, been through the worst and well I will do this for dad.

It took a while to get there though. The first year I just cried.

If you can do talk to people because you get it out of your chest.

I wrote him letters and then threw them away. That helped.

So sorry OP

Try to let go of the anger first or use the anger to get all these emotions out. Go on a walk.

So sorry

I'm so very sorry to hear about your Dad.

Can you say why you're angry with your mum and with yourself?

i dont know how many of you are single parents....when suddenly we aint as strong as we thought we were anymore...all i can think of is a house without what it stood on. cos that all of a sudden just crumbled.
