Hi
I am going through the process of getting probate for my Dads estate. Basically the will states that everything goes to my Mum, they were married for decades. House in both their names etc
Has anyone done the valuation for household and personal goods without going through a company? Seeing as it all goes to my Mum it doesn't seem worth paying £100's.
There are no works of art or antiques, just the usual furniture and electronics, all several years old. Same with his personal items, usual clothes and watches that you could only give away.
