I need to prepare my children - their Grandma is dying

My MIL and the much loved Grandma to my children aged 5 and 8 is very ill and not expected to make it through the night.

What is the best way to prepare them? They are aware she is in hospital but no idea how ill. She had a huge stroke this afternoon. Their Grandfather dies 3 years ago so they have some idea about death etc but I think this will hit them much harder.

DH is with her - 200 miles away and I can't leave the DCs to join him at the moment. How can I support him?
