Horrific accident in my parents house. Mum and grandad have both gone, dad is stable, and only found one of three cats.

I'm 21, I did not expect to lose my mum this soon at all. It hasn't even sunk in properly yet, and I know when it does I will be completely destroyed. What do I even dosad

That's good to hear about your dad. Is he going to stay in the same area or is he changing ? Will be good when he gets it then he can start to rebuild his life a bit. Hope you got to see the baby !

Shame you haven't had your cuddle yet but it will come soon enough I'm sure. I haven't heard how the tiny little baby is. Any mail from Asda this morning ? Off out for breakfast with my brothers and my niece, it's our normal fri treat. Are you sleeping better now ?

ChubbyKitty Fri 06-Sep-13 11:30:16

Still not sleeping for too long but getting to sleep easier. I'm exited to meet the new baby next week, glad their getting settled and I hope no one else is crowding them either.

Are you out of your kitchen yet ? Haha. Any news from Asda. You def need to change your job as its o vinous you are not happy there now. Anyway it will do you good to change a few things in your life after the last few months.

ChubbyKitty Mon 09-Sep-13 20:58:31

Got a call from Asda thy left a voicemail and there'd been an issue with the site and its sorted so I should get a call soon.

People have been gossiping on Facebook. Rottershmm

mummylin Mon 09-Sep-13 23:39:06

How bloody mean of them. You would think people would have a bit of respect for you and your family ! Are they friends of yours ?
Good news bout Asda though !

ChubbyKitty Mon 09-Sep-13 23:53:22

No it's a 'community' page which is mostly used for missing pets and spotting the town lout who terrorises everyone (nice to know where she is to avoid her).

People were questioning whether my dad survived and whether he remembered it.

Lets see them remember it if I chuck a wall on their head...?hmmhmmhmmangry

mummylin Mon 09-Sep-13 23:57:01

Yes. You would think they had other things to speak about. Did you leave them a comment or ignore it. The town.lout, female ! Oh my god whatever next . What's wrong with people.

ChubbyKitty Tue 10-Sep-13 00:16:59

I ignored. Sort of. I did make a passive aggressive status.

mummylin Tue 10-Sep-13 00:21:41

They will soon get fed up and talk about something else. Has your dad got his new place yet ?

ChubbyKitty Tue 10-Sep-13 00:28:44

Almost just getting it all sorted now.

mummylin Tue 10-Sep-13 00:36:48

Has he picked out his furniture, will be very strange for him won't it, hope it's not too far away from you

mummylin Tue 10-Sep-13 11:28:55

Just checking that you did not get trapped in your bathroom ! Have you got work tonight ? How is your friend with new baby getting on , did you say you would get to see it tomorrow ? Has it all settled down at your DP. S works now, I know they were giving him a bit of a hard time at one point thank god you both have each other. See you later somewhere or other !

ChubbyKitty Fri 13-Sep-13 00:14:11

Not seen baby yet I've been helping my dad so much. He's got majority of his furniture sorted, just needs to do a freezer shop and everything and then he can be in. He's apprehensive about living on his own but one of the cats is going with him so he will have some company. She's being ever so good, we've got the cat basket out so she can get used to being in it and doesn't panic in the car.

DP still hates his work but nowhere near as much as I hate mine! But there was another position at Asda to apply for with 30 hours so if I get that it'll be close to what I was on before so that'll be nice.

mummylin Fri 13-Sep-13 00:44:54

I can understand your dad being anxious. It's a massive change for him, and he will still be grieving for your mum. He has really had a terrible time of, and then on top of that his dad. It's almost too much to bear I would think. But hopefully, he will soon get used to his new place and feel more settled.

mummylin Mon 16-Sep-13 00:37:26

Have you had that cuddle yet chubby ? My gd,s friend had a baby on sat, only 17 and was a big baby 8lb 2oz ! Bet she was glad when that was over, I sent her some little baby clothes cause I don't think she has a lot and not much support from her parents. Some people can be so. Bloody nasty can't they

ChubbyKitty Mon 16-Sep-13 01:00:43

They can yeah. Not been for my cuddle yet I've been so busy! But I have seen a lot of photos and she is just beautifulsmile

mummylin Mon 16-Sep-13 01:10:20

You been to work tonight ? Don't know bout you but I think it's bloody cold tonight

ChubbyKitty Mon 16-Sep-13 01:55:41

I have yeah.

It's freezing! I tried to keep heating off til October but stuff that.

mummylin Mon 16-Sep-13 10:34:42

We also do t want to put heating on yet, once we start then it onto use all winter, my dd had hers on today when we were there. God I hate the cold

mummylin Thu 19-Sep-13 11:05:51

Chubby, I am thinking of you this morning, not sure what time you are doing the ashes. This has been going on now for a few months, and this really will be the final thing for you to do. Hope it all goes ok

ChubbyKitty Thu 19-Sep-13 14:56:15

It went better than I expected but the weather was absolutely atrocious so I'm going to be kind to myself after I've had a bit if a tidy and snuggle up with the cats until my friend comes round.

mummylin Thu 19-Sep-13 15:46:38

I don't blame you, glad that is now over and I would think although awful situation you are relieved that it is over. Now you somehow have to start rebuilding your life . And make it the best that you can for as you know sadly it is sometimes over too quickly. S as you start off on your different life I wish you all the happiness in the world and will await you telli g me that little footsteps are on the horizon smile x

ChubbyKitty Thu 19-Sep-13 17:05:40

I'm sure one day there will be yes!

I do have a little weight lifted in someway that she's now finally resting.

mummylin Thu 19-Sep-13 17:20:13

Yes she can now be at peace. But do remember that you are her child so therefore she lives on in the genes she has passed on to you x
