Bereavement

One year anniversary of a sudden death

The long term partner of a family member died a year ago.
I know from these threads that it means alot to have the memory honoured by other people remembering with a card or a letter.

A Thinking of You type card?

Trouble is I cannot remember the exact date (I will phone her soon) but I was thinking is it ok to send a card a couple of weeks early (rather than a couple of weeks after).
Nothing I do can change the fact it will be a sad day Sad but I don't want her to think we've all moved on and forgotten.

Any advice?

A card or flowers would be lovely. Or maybe something the person who you lost used to like. My nephew died age 17 3 years ago and he loved cakes. So I make them for my sister on his anniversary.
