So sorry to hear that what I would say is try not to be too strong for dh, I actually might help him more if you share your grief with him. Might allow him to be more open too.
Also depending on how well you know the boy who found him, I'd say to the boy howsorry you are and how that boy did exactly theright thing calling the ambulance etc, might seem obvous but it might help that child to understand its not there fault and he did everything he could and he acted very sensisbly
Had a shit day today...DH's best mate died this morning, he had a heart attack in his sleep and was found by his son. He was only 32
Sorry to be down, but I haven't been able to talk to anyone about it yet, been trying to keep it together for DH as he's in bits. He was DD's (non-religious type) god-parent and shared her birthday...proper gutted
it wasn't a complete surprise, he wasn't in the best of health, I'm still gutted though. Just trying to stay strong for DH...he's lost a lot of friends over the years but this one is especially bad...he was a lovely bloke. He took on 3 kids that weren't even his (his ex was as serial cheat), even after they split up and even had custody of two of them. His 13 year old wondered why his Dad hadn't woken up and went in to wake him, found him. He called the ambulance and everything...I feel so sorry for him, poor kid...
Sorry...I don't really know why I'm posting, I just needed to get it out...don't know what to do for DH, or how to help him.
