I didn't say I no longer live with him. I've never lived with him: its a fairly new relationship of about 9 months duration. We are a couple. I'll see him soon enough as we have things booked later this month and next month.

Just wondering how much I should be contacting him if at all.

Just in case you thought you might'nt get a reply.............. As you say you nolonger live with your DP but have told him you're there for him, I would leave it and wait for any contact from him that may or not come. He's got a lot to deal with .

Hello

My DP recently experienced two deaths within a couple of weeks of each other. A family friend and then a relative.

We don't live together. He has said to expect him to be distant etc. I told him I was here for him if he needed it.

I am lucky enough not to have lost anyone dear to me through death. so I am not sure what to do.

I know he needs time to.deal with it. thing is I don't want to say nothing as it May look as if I don't care. however if I was to send him the odd text, I don't want it to look as if I'm craving attention which I'm not.

So what would you do. just send the odd text now and again and ask if he is ok?
