My boss, who I'm good friends with has just lost her dad from cancer. He was diagnosed at Christmas,he has a site on Cancer Research UK and there is a donation site and a condolance site, which I would like to reply to,can anyone come up with a suitable verse, that is personal, but not too personal?

Why does it have to be a verse?
By definition that is impersonal.
How about saying what you feel, however clumsy you think it sounds?
If it's hearfelt, that's all that matters. Smile

Moondog, have just typed a very personal message to my bosses' brother,as it's him who set the site up,I'm worried he will think he doesn't know his sister,s**t it seems so daft..

Trust your instincts IM.
these card companies would have us believe yuo can buy a sentiment for every occasion. It's nonosense,go with what yuo feel.

Your so right, just took a beautiful verse off another thread,am very worried about my boss,we are quite close, but I think she hasn't realised losing her dad is for real.Just can' imagine, probably am being a bit pushy, for her to talk about it.
