went to toysrus yesterday to buy dd some new bubbles..i then said she could goa dn picka book and i would buy her it...so when we looked dp found one ..My Potty Book - for little girls..i asked her if she wanted this one and she said yes...so i said ok, you can go and pick a potty aswell then...she picked a little white one with duck duck on and was mega chuffed carrying them to checkout

got home and she handed me book to read, within minutes she was 'helping' me read it, finishing off the sentences etc..then i said should we go and put your potty in the bathroom so you can have a wee wee when mammy does...big 's.
sat her on, she kept asking me to read the book and saying'Like Eve's' when we got to 'Molly's potty' in the book....she then went on to do a massive pump...so we cheered our little hearts out
then this morning, i kept the book by the bed and showed her it when she woke up, straight away she wanted to go to her potty...tooi her nappy off, she crouched down, but wouldnt actually sit on it as she said it was too cold...then proceeded to wee wee half in potty half on floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

went wild saying what a clever girl she was and not to worry about floor as it was only an accident..we danced about and she went in and proudly told her daddy

am just sooooooooooooooooooo proud of her

Ahh bless her. Ds won;t go near a potty so have gone straight to toilet.

First attempt went as follows...

Me - Shall wee sit you on the toilet Harry ??

Harry - Yes please

Sit him on loo and he does a tiny tiny wee

Me - Yeah, Harry did you do a wee on the toilet ?

Harry - I don't know

Harry - No it water

Me - No it was a wee

Harry - Out my winky ???

Me - Yes

uite a normal conversation except that now everytime you ask him if he wants a wee he says 'out my winky'
