18-24 month development check

my dd has hers today.
what should i expect?, is she checking out how we are with her, how she's doing, house etc????

there is nothing to worry about, all they will do is give her a couple of puzzles to do and some bricks to play with, and ask you if you have any questions.
my hv only spent 15 minutes at my house when she did ds;s check.

As nnosam says - nothing to worry about. In fact your fortunate - in our area these checks have been stopped and we no longer do them.

It really is to check how she is developing and to give you a chance to discuss any worries. If you house is immaculate they probably wonder if child gets to play if house is tip they will not be bother its not what they are looking for.

Only if major problems evident would HV's alarm bells start ringing.
