Separation anxiety, advice please

Hi lo is 9 months old and has just developed separation anxiety which I know is quite normal. Trouble is it's driving me mad!

She is due to start with a CM in 3 weeks and I'm dreading it. Every time I walk out the room she screams even if she is with people she knows and sees regularly. I tell her I am going out and that I am coming back, I sing or talk while I am out of the room (but she is usually screaming too loudly to hear!)

Any advice, how long will this go on for and how can I reassure her?

It will come and go, 6 months is a major time and again at 18 months. You just have to reassure them as much as you can, with a cuddle and a smile. If you do get tense about it, she'll sense that and it won't help, so try not to let it get to you too much.
