7 1/2 month old trying to crawl but...like an ostrich!!!

only pushes up with legs when on tummy and buries face into hands/carpet

been doing this for a while and doesnt lift head and shoulders from ground

outcome: rudolph raw red bleeding nose tip

anybody have this face burying ostrich behaviour??

my friend's DD did this - used her forehead instead of her arms. he'll soon realise there is an easier way... hopefully!
