I am worried about my DS poos, especially the consistency and wanted some reassurance before I take him to the Docs.

His poos are hardly ever firm and although its not diarreah they seem awfully "loose" to me.

In addition he is going through a faddy food phase at the mo and its seems a lotof poo for the amount of food he is currently eating - any ideas...?

My DD is two and a half and her poos are hardly ever what I would call firm. I took her to see the GP when she was about 17 months as she was generally run down and I mentioned it then. GP said not to worry, it was perfectly normal and that 30 years ago we were all pooing more like that because of healthier diets . She does really like her fruit and veg which must have something to do with it and is v healthy so I don't worry about it any more.
