DD wants to use the toilet to wee .... just like daddy!

DD (2.11) recently caught DH standing up to have a wee. She now wants to be just like him and if I don't catch her is insisting on standing at the toilet, 'arranging' her bits and weeing (she thinks in the toilet) all over the floor.

I've told her she can't do this and daddy has a willy and that's why he can do it. Her response, 'well I want a willy'. Sorry DD you haven't got one. 'Well I want one, you go and get me one'.

Any thoughts.

Haha, i know it must br frustrating but it's soooo cute! she'll grow out of it if you don't make too much of a big deal of it to her. apparently when i was 3 i saw my 6 year old brother peeing and i too tried all ways to do it standing! wierd!!! my mum assured me it didn't last long. I got fed up with having wet socks!

Sorry,I don't have any advice, but my sister asked for a willy when she was 4 ( I think, it is quite a long time ago) for Christmas. I know my mum wrote a letter, telling her why she couldn't have one, but I don't know what the letter said.
May be, you could tell her, to wait until Crhistmas, probably by then she might have forgotten all about it!
