Toddler recovering from cold - worried

Any reassurances welcome...

DS (15 months) is recovering from a cold, he has no temperature any more but he just seems so unhappy. He has stopped walking (he'd just started), will only eat the most random things, and just keeps sitting there and shreiking. He might get distracted for a minute but will then suddenly just throw his head back and cry (or otherwise sit glassy eyed staring into space). Its like he is having waves of pain from something.

can anyone just tell me that he'll be ok in a couple of days and it can just take them a bit to get over things? Or do you think I should go back to the GP (tends to be useless)

Thanks

Oh dear, poor ds. Agree see the GP. Ear infection certainly possible. They are very painful.

Thanks, I will call GP now.

I took him to the emergency GP at the weekend, he just told us to keep giving calpol. His ears have been gunky though so maybe that's it. Poor thing.

last jab was mmr a month or so ago.
