I don't think you do attach it to the buggy, ours isn't. We just unpoppered the straps from the buggy, threaded them through the slits in the footmuff, then poppered the straps back into place.

hi flowery are the only straps that come off the ones at the top of the buggy ?the shoulder straps ?

You have to undo the straps where they fasten to themselves, and thread them through the holes. Have them the longest they go or you won't get baby in with the footmuff.

That should work. If you unpopper them at the top, take off the pad thingys then put the footmuff in place. Thread the straps starting with the shoulder bit throught the side slits first, then through the pad things then through the shoulder slits. You'll have to shove them a bit but you can get them attached back on with the pad things in place. With the strap between the legs, take off the pad thingy, thread through then put pad thingy back on.

Does that make sense?

It really is much simpler, than we have made it sound

Also, if you find you struggle to get the straps done up again even on the loosest setting with a thick coat on plus footmuff, if you contact your retailer they will ask the manufacturer to send you some extensions for the straps. I found this out after squishing DS in for a while... [bad mother]

Oh, flowery, we've got just that problem, can't fit DS in! But we bought the footmuff online and the Quinny a year ago - So if we just go into Mothercare with receipt they'll ask Quinny to order the straps for us? That would be ace. I'd be lost without the things I learn on MN...

It's a company call Dorel who manufacture the Buzz. Their contact details are buried on the Quinny website but I found them and emailed them. They said they can send them out but I need to get my retailer to ask them. So yes if you go into Mothercare with your receipt they should be able to get them sent for you. Mine arrived really quickly.

DS is 7mo and I zip it almost right up so just his eyes and nose poke out if he's asleep, otherwise I have it zipped up as far as his chest and kind of pull the top bit down so it's round his head a bit plus put the hood up on whatever he's wearing.
