Do you mean books about dealing with children who are particularly sensitive? If so, The Highly Sensitive Child by Elaine Aron is good.

I'll second that. I was a highly sensitive child and my ds1 is too so it is good to see how to help me deal with him (despite being one I didn't know the best way to encourage him or at the other end of the scale discipline him)

This book has really helped me recognise that life runs smoother if I understand his point of view on life.

Yes, children that are particulary sensitive.

My DD1 (almost 4 .5years) ticks lots of the boxes & I think she is experiencing jealousy of DD who is now 16mths.

Thanks for the recommendation, if there are anymore, please advise. Busy weekend of reading ahead !

It's a really good book and full of useful advice so I'd start with that one. My DS (4.5) is highly sensitive and so am I and reading the Highly Sensitive Child and the Highly Sensitive Person have really helped me to understand how he is reacting to situations and how to handle this and also helped me to understand a lot more about my reactions to situations. The author also has a website www.hsperson.com/ which I think mentions other books she's written and might have other useful info. Happy reading!
