How to teach DS how to tell the time.

I wondered if there are any web sites for teaching children how to tell the time that you can reccomend

this is one I found, just googled 'telling the time'. I wish you luck, I'm a ks1 teacher and it's a bugger to teach (that's a technical academic term dontchaknow...)

Not a website but Tesco have got a really good little write on wipe off clock at the moment. About £1.49 - you can set the clock to a time and then ask them to write out the time. Or write out a time and get them to set the clock to that time. There are 2 sizes - one A4 ish is more expensive £3 - £4 - but went for the smaller one so fits in kitchen drawer. DD1 is 5 and likes playing with it at tea time while i cook!

just start with recognising the hours, then go to half past and quarter past. quarter to is quite difficult, so leave that for last. if they can count in 5s then you can count the minutes past the hour too.
