its cardboard boxes. she has about 15 in her room. just small ones, ranging from gift boxes to shoe boxes, to a larger box which my breadmaker came in.

apparently she is making things with them. no idea what. but its making her room very hazordous and junk filled.

she did throw three away at the weekend, as apparently they weren't 'beautiful', and i have snuck two others into the bin which i found under the sofa. but how do i deal with the other 15 or so?

would suggesting she keeps them in her playhouse in the garen be mean considering its getting into colder weather now?

Only 15

Cardboard boxes are wonderful. We used to keep loads in the garage when DD was younger. Helps if they can be fitted inside each other to compact them.

Playhouse sounds like good idea.

her room is tiny, thats the problem and she shares with dd3.

if dd2 had her way there would be loads more.

right, am off to see i can get any into each other and move to the playhouse, along with her glue, tissue papers etc.

arr thats so sweet keeping 'beautiful' boxes to make something.

My boys keep shoe boxes to collect grass snakes, worms, spiders, snails, grasshoppers, yuk!!

A compromise, to store in playhouse sounds ideal.
