I'm getting sick of the sound of my own voice!

im a c.m as well as parent and last week or so mindee and dd(and dd's friend who has been once or twice over hols) have just argued, threatend to hit and generally been horrible to oneanother!

today i said to dd's friends mum that im sick of hearing my voice saying "be kind to xxx", xxxx dont hit yyy", you must let zzz play as well"..bllah blah blah!....dd back at school starting reception thurs, mindee starts morning nursery mon,but please advize me on how to communicate better so that theyll actually listen and im not like a stuck record!

Have same problem. Have you looked at the 'talk so they listen thread'? Apparantly there is a fab book.
