anyone?

I know he's probably hyped about going to school, but in the last 48 hours he has...

Woken before 6am, filled a cup with water and using a very large paint brush, 'painted' the dining room table and an iMac.

Turned on a heater and burned a hole in his beloved cuddly cloth and melted a dinosaur.

Painted the wall of the laundry room.

Pulled some antique books off the shelves and thrown them about and was found standing on them.

Messed around with my computer & hard drive.

Thrown gravel at the windows.

And done various nasty things to his sisters and is throwing mini-tantrums and sulks at the drop of a hat.

He's been told off, sent to step, was warned and then missed lunch out yesterday and both DH and I have had a quiet chat with him - to which he can only reply 'I don't know'.

I don't know either. He'd better improve his behaviour when he gets to school or this thread title is going on eBay.

And lastly, ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. That feels better.

Used to live near Nork Park school about 20 years ago - didn't have the same connotations then as it does now.

CM - I grew up in Kingswood.

I've just found the 'how to talk so kids will listen' thread and I'm checking to see if they have a magic word for thwarting evil boys.

CM - I saw a similar thread earlier that linked to that one.

I hardly knew anyone at Nork Park. Lots at DB though! Between 1981-1986.

No bells ringing - well maybe Joanna K? She didn't go to BD tho i don't think.
Ever hear of a band called Greystone Man?

Report
TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 19/08/2007 22:08

Greystone Man - no.

Joanna K yes, younger sister Nancy, older brother Paul. They lived in Kingswood too. Their mother was the truant officer!

That's them, they moved from my village (wood...) when i was quite small. Think my mum keeps up with their mum, but i don't know them. Live(d) up near L&G?
Hmm, who else lived in Kingswood? Morton, Forbes. What school did you go too? And are you still nearby? I'm still in Surrey but not there.

JK has reminded me of the Bowens, 4 boys, Kerry being the eldest, then Jamie, Ricky and ?

Forbes - girl, long blonde hair? Can't remember her name but we knew her quite well!

I went to De Burgh after Fairdene closed down.

Plym? My brain hurts too LOL. I ought to dig out my old photo album but i doubt it has anyone's names - you think you'll remember them forever!

ChippyMinton · 19/08/2007 22:42

Looking at your DB dates you may've been around the same year as my sister, quite an unusual surname so i won't give it here.

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 19/08/2007 22:47

Is it double-barreled - C-L? Only person in my year I can remember from wood.
