DS is still putting everything in his mouth and slobbering over it - I thought he would have grown out of this by now? It doesn't seem to be associated with teething as we are between teeth at the moment. He still has a dummy so has the comfort/mouth association but I am trying to cut that down to just bed and car times, so he just puts whatever else is to hand in his mouth.
Anyone else still have this?

Doesn't hep you at all, but my DS (23 months) does this occasionally, mainly his own fingers though. My friends DS is 26 months and still puts absolutely everything in his mouth. He always has done. She thinks he'll grow out of it. One day.

My friend's dd does this, eating paintbrushes at toddler group etc. She's now 2.4 and just about growing out of it and is fine, no developmental problems or anything.

My Ds is 2.3 and still puts things in his mouth, although he is not as bad as he used to be.
