Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our dd1 has always been a bit of a handful, but things are becoming a nightmare.

It probably isn't helped by the fact that we now have dd2 who is 9 weeks old.

Dd1 is charming with dd2, but is hellish with dh and me. Basically lots of name calling, lying, hitting, kicking etc. The worst behaviour is when she has been told off for something, she cries hysterically, and then goes and sits in a corner kicking walls and shouting. It takes forever to console her.

We are at our wits end, particularly dh who wonders if she has some behavioural problems.

I have decided that I will keep a log of her behaviour to see if it links in with anything, speak to the HV, and if needs be get in touch with a child psychologist.

Anyone had any experience of this? Suggestions??

Hi sokl. Hope you don't think i'm snooping.

As I mentioned do try the omega 3, it really did work for ds1 (I know i'm always whingeing about him, but he's a lot better than he used to be). (Not that she's got it), bit it has been discovered that kids can suffer depression from around the age of 2,and the omega 3 helps with the processes in the brain.

TBH its probably just the change in scene, with dd2's arrival. I know exactly how you feel cos we are in the same boat as you really.

Also did you say that B is more or less in full time nursery. She might feel as if she is missing out on sth at home, I know that ds1 always asks what I am doing when he goes to nursery, and what me and the baby will be doing?

I can tell from your posts that you are frustrated, and like you said it is soul destroying. When you find the answer please let me know!
