HELP! my 3yr old heeps headbutting

I dont know where she's got it from, but I know she doesn't do anything like this at pre-school.

She has always been aggressive but I am becoming increasingly worried as she has started to headbut dd1-5.

Usually it is on the arm but this morning she did it on dd1 ear.

I do use the naughty step but she doesn't really care, infact most punishments don't seem to bother her! I've tried sticker charts to no avail either.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am at the end of my tether

What sort of birth did she have - forceps/ventouse? I'm asking because my DS(2yrs)did this constantly - head banging on hard objects/people/floor and shaking his head and pulling his ears.

Cranial Oestopath said it was because his head had been squeezed during birth - which it had - and so when he teethed or grew, it could be painful/frustrating if things weren't perhaps quite in the right place and the pressure would cause him to want to release it! Hence the head banging!!!

I don't know if you're DD's head butting is anything like this but if not, I'd say she'll stop it sooner or later and perhaps just say no firmly and put her on her own, without attention from you.

It was a normal delivery. Know its a faze and she'll stop eventually but I'm worried she's really gonna hurt herself or someone else
