Hi, I've got a 13 month old little girl and wondered if my routine for her is anything like anyone elses?! This is the gist:
7.30 Wakes up, 6oz formula
8.15 Bekkie of cereal + banana
10.00 Sleeps for 2 hrs (???)
12.30 lunch (always homemade - usually defrosted)
15.00 Snack
16.30 Usually sleeps in the car for half an hr
17.15 Dinner - usually soup or something else light
18.00 bath
18.45 6oz bottle and bed for 7. She then sleeps through till 7.30/ 8am.

It seems odd that she takes such a long sleep in the morning for her age? Anyone else experienced this? Cheers.

I would say if she's still needing the nap, then don't try and change anything. As long as she's still going down in the evening ok, then leave well alone!

You're probably right but it still seems weird that after 12 or 13 hrs sleep she then needs such a long nap am. Not that it bothers me (Morning telly's fab!)
However it seems that everyone else's babies sleep longer in the afternoon. Maybe it will change - she used to take her long nap pm after lunch, only recently chnged to morning.

Could it be possible that she's waking in the night or even just stirring and you aren't hearing her? If so, she's probably needing to top up her sleep again quite soon after waking. I agree, morning tv is fabby! Good old Phil and Fern

my dd was doing almost the same from about 8 months. i really thought i had it cushy till a couple of weeks ago. shes 14m now. she still has the 2 hour sleep am but ive had to stop the afternoon nap as she now wakes at 4.30-5am!!!! so my advise to you is enjoy it while it lasts!!
