My DD is 9 months and 26 days old today.
This afternoon I picked her up from nursery, where she had a fab day by all accounts, came home via the park and a quick go on the swings.
I had popped into town and picked up a beautiful pink flowery dress from MC, and promptly put her in it. Gorgeous.
She crawled, lightning speed, over to her toy box, rooted through until she had got what she seemed to be searching for, pulled out a yellow shaker with beads in, held it up in both hands, over her head, towards me, like it was for me and said, very loudly, very clearly, no confusion...
MA
and grinned from ear to ear, still holding out the shaker, until I scooped her up in may arms, shaker and all, and told her yes I was MA!
She has not said it since, but I dont care. She is asleep in my arms all full of milk and I feel like my cold is so irelevant today.
I love her and I just want all of mn to know I am a happy mummy

She said 'Ma'. Not 'Da'. I am sooooo proud.
