Reciting his 12 times table, making his own dinner and painting like Monet.

Hope you haven't got a slow learner .

Well my nearly 11 month old boy is rolling everywhere - this is his method of getting around. Not crawling or walking, but can stand against furniture, can't pull himself up though. He can wave 'bye-bye' in response to a verbal 'bye', he can just about clap. I THINK he can say 'a-gain' after playing 'row row', but it sounds more like 'a-kkkkkkkkkkkkhhhhhhh'. He can snuggle right into my arms and have the snuggliest of cuddles, and he can melt my heart with his smiles.

waking up at ungodly hours of the morning, dropping and throwing food, biting you with lovely new teeth...

My 11 month old boy can slap my cleavage in time to some music.

he can communicate with bats.

He crawls - I wish he didn't, but hey.

He always manages to know when someone important is coming to the door - he will put what is very obviously that mornings breakfast in him mouth and scream like the damned when it's removed.

I suppose I should give a serious answer too. At 11 months my dd (does it matter that she's a girl rather than boy?) was walking, climbing stairs, clapping, waving, saying mummy, daddy, no (more often 'nah') and yeah, and could feed herself with a spoon as long as I loaded it for her.

Ds at 11 mths old - could sit and say about 5 words. Did not move. In any form.
Dd at 11 mths old - crawling, pointing, obeying about 5/6 commands (eg go bang-bang, wave, dance -well, wiggle; clapping, splashing), no words.
LEGALLY think probably sitting and babbling is about all you can have them for...
