He's nearly 21 months and well into the tantrum stage, which I smugly thought I was dealing with quite well. But for the past couple of weeks he's become so changeable - happy and larking about for 5 minuntes, then some tiny thing will tip him over the edge and he'll cry, strop, throw things, hit etc. - can be distracted out of it with a toy, cuddle or something to look at, then the whole cycle starts again. it's bloody exhausting and I prefer the tantrums - at least they're over when they're over. He's also extra clingy at the moment.
Is it normal or could something be wrong (yes I am a naive first-timer, please be nice) and is it right to try and coax him out of it or is that namby pamby, should I just let him strop?
Aaaaah at least he's in bed now, wine o'clock... (but I even feel bad about being so relieved...)
