Baby being sick after feeds

Hi all,

My baby girl is 14 weeks, has always been a little sick during feeds (when burping) and after - always have a huge muz ready to catch it! But she isn't getting any better, been to the doctor they said it's not reflux as she's not at all in pain with it, it just seems to fall out! She can also be sick up to 3 hours after feeding.

She is never sick during her dream feed or if she's tired during feeding.

Doctor said she's fine and will grow out of it but frustrating as having to change her all the time!

Does anyone have any tips/advice, is it quite normal and common?

Thanks xx

I had 2 of these. Sorry. I kept thinking I could do something, different formula, bottles, Fred times etc etc. Nothing worked. DS1 stopped at 1. (Yep 12 months) DS2 stopped at about 7mo.

It was REALLY annoying when they were crawling and floors were covered in sick. (More DS1 than DS2 as for longer, obvs). I bought massive cheap throws from Amazon to cover everything.

So no advice, sorry, I think 12mo is unusually long but it is normal for 6mo +. My best advice is not to worry about it. I'd have been a lot more relaxed if I'd known there was nothing I could do.

There is such a thing as silent reflux I think basically when it doesn't bother them. If your baby's weight gain is good then don't worry too much though.

DS was like this but did have a bit of discomfort with it. I found holding him upright after feeds for a good five minutes or so really helped.
