11 month waking up every hour

My baby started waking up a lot during the night when he was 6 months now he is 11 months and it has gotten worse. He has his first four teeth so I know he is not teething. Every time he wakes up he wants to nurse. I gave him more food and water but that hasn't helped. I noticed his nose is a little stuffy during the night so I have used saltwater nose spray but that hasn't helped either. Anyone has any other suggestions..... please help we both need our sleep

Is there anything in the room that could be disturbing him? Maybe waking him up? Cold/noise/dreams?

Babies just love to nurse. Mine used to feed all night long. Bring him into bed and go back to sleep!

He wakes up crying as if he is annoyed, but he doesn't feel cold or hot. Sometimes he does have bad dreams but that's only a few times that I hear him upset while still sleeping then waking up.

I don't sleep well when he is in the bed with me, wake up with my shoulder hurting and I also notice he looks tired, so he doesn't sleep well either. Hehe for how long was your baby waking up to nurse, I thought this stage would be over by now.

It sounds like he has developed a sleep association with the feeding to sleep so is waking at the end of each sleep cycle. Can you send in Dh with some water so he can't smell any milk? Babies at that age, on the whole, don't need milk at night.

True they don't need milk but they do need comfort which is just as valid. Every baby will be different (my dd was 18m, ds2 26m) but for 11months this is perfectly normal. Maybe try sleeping on a mattress on the floor with him to get him to sleep and then move away. Sometimes the physical distance reduces the wake ups.

What makes you sure he isn't teething? At 11 mo and only four teeth it could well be that.
