Aggressive 8yr old

Hi, this is my first time posting but I'm at my wits end with my 8yr old son.
For the last 12-18 mths his behaviour has become increasingly worse. He answers back constantly, bullying behaviour to his younger sister, pushes and kicks me when he can't get his own way. He's sporty and bright but seems to want to be centre of attention. I've tried to reason with him and sit and talk and he says he's sorry but 5 mins later if it doesn't go his way he lashes out again. He hits his head with his hands saying he's stupid and last night it broke my heart he said he wanted to get a knife and kill himself! I'm at my wits end I just don't know what to do.

He's at that age, hormones are changing and he is getting confused. I would consider talking to a doctor to help with mood swings. Stay strong and remind him how much you love him xo
