I was so tired after the 2nd I lost my cool more times than I am happy with. Even though I am much closer to the chilled out parent I thought I would be (!) now, when dc1 is being a mummy she shouts :-(

I think my biggest one is that I'd stick to swimming lessons even though DD hated them.

A friend whose 3yo DD has had lessons since tiny heard a splash as she was caring for her youngest, and looked up to find her DD had fallen in the pool but turned herself around, swum to the edge and was climbing out.

I recently (on holiday) left my normally very sensible DD for a moment as I went to get a towel (not sure why I did that - I'm normally careful to the point of paranoia). I came back and found her paddling on the pool steps. If she had slipped, I don't know whether she could have done the same. She'll be having lessons next term no matter what.
