mega clingyness in toddler

My DD who is 2 years 3 months has not been herded for the last week or 2.

She can be happy one minute and then really unhappy the next and wanting to be held and cuddled. Seems to cry for no reason and often has her hand in her mouth.

She is soooo clingy especially for mummy, her behaviour is also really erratic and we are having huge tantrums, problems with eating, refusing to be dressed/washed/ changed and big problems with bed time!

I'm just not used to it as she is normally fairly hard work but happy with it!

Could this be related to development??

I am also 32 weeks pregnant but haven't been making a huge thing of it but am wondering if it is in some way related to this too??

Or maybe she is just a toddler!!
