am I on track with 2yo?

When ds was little everyone loved to compare what he was doing with other kids. Now he's bigger no-one asks and I am too shy to ask them. I'm not worried about his development, it's more my choices. Just wondering if I baby him or not. I know everyone does it differently and that there are many ranges of normal, but does this sound ok? He has just turned 2.

Just dropped bedtime bottle. Now uses a sippy cup.
Bath every other night
Bedtime routine lasts 7ish-8.30ish but I am working to cut it down.
Naps midday for 1-2 hours. Lunch can be before or after.
Sleeps in a toddler bed.
Uses a buggy. Would prefer to walk but is not reliable enough near roads.
Not started potty training yet.
Sits at the table for meals on a normal chair.
Offered a wide variety of foods but refuses lots of them.
Milk at night, sometimes in the morning, otherwise water at home or juice if out.
Most drinks in a sippy cup or with s straw.

I think the rest of it I'm reasonably happy with. Thanks

My almost 2 year old is similar, although I don't give milk in the night and haven't for a year or so, same with bottles.

That's interesting, thanks, as he's not a great eater.

Sounds about right. My DD turned 2 a few days before Christmas. She doesn't really drink milk any more but I don't think she really likes it. Her friends around the same age still have it. She's also just dropped her afternoon nap most days. This has happened in the past couple of weeks and she will have a nap every 2 or 3 days, depending on what we have been up to that day. DD is still in a cot though but naps on the settee as its just easier for us. Everything is the same as your DS apart from that Smile

Thank you. My ds also naps on the sofa or in the buggy a lot as he usually falls asleep on the way home from our morning activity. I hope he doesn't drop his nap any time soon!
