Won't bore you all (again) with the daily trails of dealing with my darling DS twin boys (5).

Suffice to say that the last 6 months or so have been really difficult and its been wearing me down.

Trying to be positive about it all but can a see a long stretch ahead.

Looking after twin babies and then toddlers was quite hard but nothing compared to this (what seems like )constant battleground.

Anyone with older children who can look back and see that this stage was a nightmare but now feeling very serene about it all.

(Serene - must remember to try that tomorrow.)

No replies...I guess that means that the answer to that question is NO!

I have one almost 5 year old ds, I can't imagine what it would be like to have two. Actually I think I can - a NIGHTMARE!
Sorry I can't help, but I can commiserate...

Kizzie,

On reflection -my DD is 7 and DsD is 6 months younger - it does get a bit easier because they can be reasoned with now they are older, well my 2 can anyway.
But saying that, last week we finally had their 1st physical fight (bless) I am sure there are many more to come.

Yes imo it does get easier, and all of a sudden you think, where did all the time go? Even though my two still bicker, especially when tired and hungry, they generally get along well, amuse each other on long car journeys etc, and it's great not to have the daily battles of teeth-brushing, getting dressed, putting on shoes. That said, the older they get you have more problems with friendships, schoolwork and so on but the physical grind does get easier.
