DD is currently in with us and has started to sleep through and so am planning in acouple of weeks (will find it sooooooo hard] to put DD in her own room as I know I disturb her in the night any tips to make it go well? At the moment she goes to bed well most nights.

You could try putting her moses basket in the cot for a little while during the transition.

mine went into a cot at 5wks and his own room at 6 months. He never noticed the difference. He was only sleeping through by 6 months. We never disturbed his sleep, (he was used to sleeping anywhere) only hunger did that. He also was in a travel cot during that time too, it was all the same to him.

we did the carry cot in big cot for a night, then into big cot.
We use sleeping bags so dd probably didn't notice much difference between one cot and another

ooh another idea is to do as much of the bedtime routine in her room as possible - so she gets used to spending time in there

She always has her bedtime bottle in there and had every night feed in there too. Sometimes I think it's just her resisting a nap
