Will my 16 year old Boy stay Sort?

Hi there,

My son is turning 16 on the 30th. His height is 1.59m, mine 1.54m & his dad 1.70m
Will he grow taller? Is there anything I can do to help him grow. The GP see it quite normal taking my height and his dad's one into the equation but I would like to see him slightly taller ...!
Thank you

Boys continue to grow for longer than girls, so he should have a few years left (early 20s). Growth slows after puberty, so he'll put in more height from now if he went into puberty later than his peers. Also, did his dad have a late growth spurt? There's not much you can do about it though, and the doctors probably would not consider growth hormone as he's within the expected range given your heights. You should have married a tall man!
