Any advice/tips for a cough

17 month old DD during her daytime nap yesterday and during most of last night too has been coughing. It's so upsetting to hear, especially as she's not making a fuss about it.

I got up a few times to offer her some water and give her some Snuffle Babe but any other suggestions for what I can do to help her?

I always find a spoonful of manuka honey soothes that sort of cough. Unfortunately it's quite pricey, but a jar does last a while Smile

Vicks on the bottom of her feet and socks on also put a little bit on her throat

Ds is 2.3 now, when he first started nursery he had a persistent cough for months, just viral according to gp, the things we found helped were raising his mattress slightly with some towels under, warm bath before bed with shower running to create steam then snuffle babe on feet, chest and back, then we eventually bought a humidifier which did help.
