sibling rivalry adopted child

my husband and i had a daughter whos now 7 my husband passed away 2 years ago and i wanted another child so i adopted a girl whos now 4 and has been a part of my family for almost two years it went very well the two got along so well and everything was great but just recently my oldest has began being really mean to my younger daughter and i dont understand why its just starting now shes not acting unusual at school we havent made any changes at home none od the punishments i impose on her are having any effect and she wont say anything when i try to talk to her past "i just dont like her now" i dont know what to do ive never had any real problems with them not getting along until now
