Snowsuits?

Dunno if I've posted this in the right section but want opinions on whether or not snowsuits are worth getting. Ds is 6 months so won't be walking in the winter but I reckon we spend only about an hour a day with him in the pram outside. Are they useful or do babies just get sweating hot in them?

I've got one for this winter was dd will be under 6 months until the Spring. Not sure whether to use with a cosy toes or not though. Maybe snowsuit and cosytoes will be enough with varying layers underneath depending on snow/frost/rain etc

I never used cosytoes (lot of faff imo), but always swore by snowsuits. Partially because ds1 and ds2 were devcember and january babies of course, but DS3 was born in July and we used them for his first two winters, would now if it wasn't for toilet training TBH, excellent things.

You don't have to go for the full fur lined variant if you don't want, the NCT used, and probably still do, to sell nice fleece ones, and you can easily find one to suit what else you use- cosytoes, blankets etc.

But it can get very cold in February remember, and you'll still need a blanket as well.

Thank you ladies, I think cosy toes is a faff too, he spends all his time trying to kick off blankets etc so I reckon it might be a good idea. I like the polar fleece ones that jojmamanbebe sell but will look at nct magazine too.

I found snowsuits really useful as when dd was small enough for me to manage, used to do quite a bit of walking with her in backpack. Don't think I ever bothered with them in pram though. Had cosytoes but she furiously kicked it off so perhaps snowsuit would have been better after all!!

Just ordered the nct thank you peachey. They are a tenner less than the jojo ones and hopefully will be just as nice. Am now considering jojo pop on mittens. anyone got those, do they pop off just as quickly???
