is this possible? my DS has red, hot cheeks, but no fever, is v drooly, munching on fist. eating loads and chomping on dummy at night. saw doc (was worroed about cheeks) and mentioned teething - he said NO. but i'm not so sure....am I being really daft?

Oh yes. All three of mine showed symptoms practically from birth yet that first tooth takes ages... 7 months for my kids.

DD1 had her first tooth at 13 weeks.

Not impossible. Would be very unusual. Average for first tooth is 6 mths but I've known a few get them at 4mths.

It might still be ages until any teeth turn up though!

Doubt it. Babies just do these things at this age. It could be related to teething. But teeth unlikely until 6 months.
