Fussy eater

Im at my wits end with DDs eating lately. Shes 2.4 yrs and used to eat anything she was given but shes become really fussy and more often than not doesn't have any dinner at all. For lunch all she'll eat is hummus, rice pudding or yoghurt which is good as i know shes getting some calories but its dinner i struggle with the most. I make her healthy things and she just takes one look at it and hands me back the plate and says "im all finished".

Its very difficult to stop meal times from becoming a stand off and a battle of wills. Ive tried ignoring and just taking it away and making no comment, ive tried bargaining (which im not going to do again), tried saying "i bet you cant eat this" and making it into a game, tried telling her the food will make her grow and she will be able to climb in the play ground better and it will make her clever blah blah blah but its just wasted words, she point blank refuses to eat dinner most days. The only thing she will eat is fish fingers and waffles but I don't want her to have this every day. Tried jacket potatoes which she used to wolf down but now will only have one or two mouthfuls and shes done or refuses altogether. DH gives her breakfast when he gets up for work and often I come to the kitchen and theres almost a whole bowl of cereal left over.

She has gone off most snacks aswell. Im at a loss to know what to give her mid morning/afternoon. Gone off raisins, all of the goodies/kiddilicious range. Hit and miss with fruit. Sometimes will accept grapes, other times just spits them straight back out. Asked her yesterday did she want strawberries, raspberries or mango for a snack. She said mango, so I went and cut it up and brought it to her in a little bowl and got an instant refusal. Its so frustrating. She often asks for snacks but then changes her mind when shes given them.

I don't know how to handle it anymore. Im running out of ideas. I made a batch of Annabel karmel dinners for the freezer but she wont touch them. Its so annoying to spend so long making things only to have to put it all in the bin.

How do you deal with a fussy eater?
