5 month old & day time naps

my 5mo naps well in the day, no real set times.

As I have a 2.5 year old I can't go upstairs to settle DD2 into her cot during the day as she takes a bit of rocking etc. I've just been putting her on a lie flat rocking chair in the hallway or dining room and she seems to be ok. but should I be doing this? am I just going to cause problems for myself later on.

DD1 always always went in cot upstairs for sleeps!

My DC always slept in the buggy which was almost flat. Hasn't done them any damage!

I wouldn't worry too much, you should just do what works for you and your little ones.

My DS napped upright on me (refluxer) until he was 13months and now he naps on the sofa if at home or in the car/pushchair when we are out for the day.

They change so quickly at this age, what might be working well at the moment might then completely change in the next couple of months!
