HIGH pitched SCREAMING....

My ds{if i can call him that)has the loudest high pitched scream,he is nearly 9 months so i am sure he does it for effect..and it works but not in the way he wants...what do i do???pls help

Both really,agony for me or anyone else that can hear it but prob more i found my voice scream for him...
its starting to drive me insane...

my dd is 9 months and started doing the same last week. hugely irritating but it is quite funny i suppose that she is testing the limits of her powers. can't wait til she moves on to the next thing, though...

I wish he would find something new,got my grans funeral tomorrow and am dreading it if he screams....
My dd never did it so new to me,or what to do about it...

i'm sorry to hear about your gran, ebbie, i wonder if that's making the screaming seem worse than it is. can someone else look after him at the service, or maybe you could have him with you but arrange that if he screams one of your friends or relatives could come and grab him to take him outside? that way you would know it couldn't go on too long but you wouldn't miss the funeral and saying goodbye to your gran.

Thanks for your replys,ds did scream in the service and at the wake,but its not constant more of a YOU WILL LOOK AT ME AND LISTERN way....Though odd as it sounds he hasnt been as bad this week...
Service went as well as it could of and a lovely way for dg to be remembered..thank you xx
